My name is Hannah Raßbach from 4BK and I work for InTax in Dublin. I wake up at 6:20 a.m. and get myself ready for work. I leave the house at 7:25 a.m. and go to my bus station. After an one hour drive I finally reach my workplace. I usually work from 8:30 a.m. until 16:30 and I have a one-hour lunch break. Luckily, the company in which I work pays for all our lunches which saves me a lot of money.
In general, the office that I work in is very small and I have around 5 co-workers. My workplace is really diverse because all of my co-workers are from India or other Asian countries. Most of the time I cannot understand what they are talking about because they either speak in a different language than English or speak English with a very strong accent. Nevertheless, in the lunch breaks they sometimes talk with me.
At first, my tasks were extremely one-sided but after some time my co-workers gave me different tasks. My duties are copying information from one form and transferring it into different one, scanning, entering invoices in an Excel sheet and sometimes I have to calculate the taxes. I learned new things concerning taxes and how different the Irish tax system is from the Austrian one. Generally, the workplace environment I work in is really structured and strict but also very professional and tidy.
